About senior copywriter Clare Sturges
I graduated with a BA Hons in English Literature/History of Ideas from Cardiff University, Wales, in 2000, then trained as a TESOL teacher and taught English in Continental Europe for two years before entering publishing in Bristol, England. For five years I cut my teeth as a magazines reporter, sub and production editor with Institute of Physics Publishing and Immediate Media/BBC Worldwide, rising to the role of editor with the Environment Agency. In 2007, I moved into financial services customer communications at AXA and qualified as a marketer.

I hold the CIM/CAM Diploma in Marketing Communications, covering modules in PR, marketing and consumer behaviour, integrated media, advertising, direct marketing and sales promotion, as well as the CIM Professional Development Award in e-Marketing. Since becoming a freelance writer in 2009, I've worked with many leading agencies, businesses and brands to produce targeted communications and content for internal, B2B and B2C audiences.
